A series of stop motion video artworks produced during lockdown. The precise and slow technique represent a meditative process during Poonawalla’s time in lockdown, creating a series of contemplative and precise works which address some of the ongoing challenges in the world.
Mother Teresa, the eternal symbol of Love and Peace is a stop motion video reflecting on the work of Mother Teresa. Mother Teressa devoted her life to millions of poor, destitute and downtrodden people. She was a ray of hope to these people and in 1979 she was awarded the Nobel Prize for the work she had done. She worked for charity and had a simple life beyond human needs. She indeed had a calming effect and a strong connection with humanity.
