Specially produced for Textures & Layers at Tao gallery, Blue Wave is inspired by the city of Mumbai with the free flowing language of the work and colours reflecting the waves that lap the city’s shoreline. The work creates a strong sense of physicality and presence evolving beyond a traditional 2D painting to create a dramatic visual language incorporating sculptural features and a sense of dynamism.
